Path to the Mountain - God of War(God of War 4) - Part 3

Once The Stranger is defeated, Kratos decides that even Atreus is not ready, they need to start the journey to the top of the mountain, mainly because their home is not safe anymore. Start by jumping down to the crevice made by the fight with The Stranger. After crossing a few ledges and jumping across a few gaps, it's time to start climbing. When at the end of the climb, look right and press circle to jump to the ledge of the cave entrance. Cross the cave and soon you will come across your first puzzle. This one is easy to solve. First let Atreus up to the upper platform. Then use the wheel at the corner of the room to lower down the bridge. Freeze it in place using an axe throw to the glowing circle. Ask Atreus to drop the chain. And lastly get to the upper platform using the chain and across the bridge. Do not miss the bucket hanging in front and collect the loot. STRANGER - God of War PS4 (2018) - The Marked Trees - Part 2

After the fight with the DAUDI, Kratos and Atreus start to come back towards their home, but on the way, they need to face two smaller groups of enemies. With Draugr, the game introduces a new type of enemy, who are resistant to frost and to the ax. The game also introduces the stun meter. Once an enemy is stunned you can do a visceral finish on it by pressing R3 near it. After you defeated the groups, look for the boarded up area and throw your ax to bring down the barrier, which will let you pass through. Run forward to the house and enjoy the long cutscene after pressing circle on the door. Enter The Stranger. This is a boss fight and a little more difficult than the DAUDI fight. The fight will happen in three different stages, each more difficult than the last. Also within the fight, you will be introduced to two new mechanics, namely, the BLOCK by using L1 and the RAGE by using L3 + R3. STRANGER ATTACKS The stranger has normal 3 hit and 4 hit melee

God of War PS4 (2018) - The Marked Trees - Part 1

The game starts with Kratos cutting down a Tree. Atreus appears as he has found some herbs or such and the DUO heads to the boat, with Kratos carrying the felled tree on his shoulders. You will have to drive the boat and after it reaches its destination you are treated to a LONG and SAD cutscene. Kratos demands that Atreus shows him what he has learned from his dead mother, so the duo goes hunting deer. Soon, some Draugrs show up and here the game introduces the player to the movement and combat of the game. After a couple of Draugr fights, Atreus manages to Hunt a deer and father teaches son the brutality of this world. Suddenly a Troll appears out of nowhere and Kratos has to fight the massive beast. Fighting DAUDI KUMPADR is not an easy task, especially this early in the game. Take it slow, be mindful of his two main attacks.
